The inspiration behind Brown & Butter
In the heart of every creation at Brown & Butter lies a story of companionship, innovation, and a touch of serendipity. Established in 2020 by our founder and creative director, Tata, our brand took its first steps alongside the pitter-patter of a toy poodle mix named Kiri. Adopted during the solitude of the pandemic, Kiri quickly became Tata's source of inspiration and the embodiment of the idea that would lead to our flagship offering - the Kiri pet necklace adorned with personalised tag.
Kiri, much like any spirited canine, was reluctant to bear the weight of traditional pet tags. Tata, determined to provide both safety and comfort for her furry friend, envisioned a pet accessory that was not only lightweight but also brimmed with personality. Thus, the Kiri tag necklace, our signature product, was born – a showcase of identity for pets who are as unique as their human companions.
Brown & Butter's journey is a testament to the universal language of love for our pets. What began as a single solution for a newly adopted dog has blossomed into a full-fledged brand, resonating with pet owners' everywhere. Tata's flair for creative direction and playfulness is now a hallmark trait of our brand, echoing through our expanded range of pet tags - complete with customisable engraving to make each one as everlasting as the bond it signifies.
Charming, literally and figuratively, our collection has grown to include a variety of pet charms that lend a distinctive flair to any pet accessory. Each charm is a statement piece, celebrating the individuality and style of our beloved companions.
The appeal of Brown & Butter has leaped beyond its birthplace to grace other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Our online store, a melting pot of pet adoration, welcomes customers from across Southeast Asia, Australia, the United States, and Europe, connecting pet enthusiasts from all corners with our charming creations.
